St John Evangelical Lutheran Church takes these words of Jesus seriously and, in in its ministry to the community it serves, has established St. John's Child Care Center. We believe children need more than basic academic skills to develop such values as respect for parent(s), society, and God. They need spiritual training as well; training well grounded in the Word of God and a love for Christ Jesus.
We at St. John's Lutheran Child Care Center dedicate ourselves to the task of providing excellence in all areas of preschool education. Our programs teach skills essential to later success in math, science, reading, and writing. Through outdoor play, game-time singing, and other activities, we foster basic social skill emphasizing personal and physical development and caring for one's neighbor. Small bodies are nourished with nutritious snacks. Bible stories, chapel talks and prayer time before meals teach love of God and neighbor.
Our enrichment program offers a less structured format emphasizing basic social skills and Christian values. Extended day-care is offered as a convenience to the community.
